Travel in Nepal

We all know that we human beings are the social creature. The prediction of human beings has been enlarged a lot till now. The things which were thought impossible in ancient time has been made possible in the  present days which proves that the desires  and capabilities of human beings is unimaginable. Realizing this travel also has become a passion of present human beings. Travel or can be said as tourism is a word derived from the very word ‘Tour’. The exact meaning of tour is to travel from place to place for many purposes like entertainment, exploration, and research or for the business purposes. In the ancient times travel was considered as a method of exploration but in the present days its meaning is beyond that each and every individual travel from one place to another for their specific and for personal purposes.

In the over view of the world we know that our country scenario is covered by beautiful natural beauties and because of that we are having many tourist attraction in our country so that it helps nation to developed the tourism industry.
Coming to the point that travel in  Nepal is very nature friendly  we can travel any parts  of Nepal with the help of different means of transportation but in  many rural areas there is no proper facility of road transportation and for that we need to use our foot for traveling, in Nepal almost all types of travels can  be experienced except seaways, if we analyse in accordance to the overall potentialities got by Nepal in terms of Natural beauty Nepal can be a great destination for the   tourist for travelling to this very  country . The only reason dragging Nepal backward in this context is its underdevelopment. Underdevelopment has been proved as a crush for Nepal. If Nepal was developed like any of the developed countries we could take lots of benefits as well as advantage from the natural beauty of Nepal along with travel and tourism. Realizing this the government of Nepal has been. conducting various programs to uplift the tourism industry and has been celebrating tourism every four year making some  places as major tourism  attraction sites. The Nepal tourism year 2011 A.D was celebrated with great success to make Kumauni as the centre of attraction In this year  the train of tourist who visit Nepal  increase at a great number due to which the country  is able to gain a lot of benefit from that vary program. With this success the encouraged government of Nepal has been conducting such programs every year to flourish the tourism capabilities of Nepal all over the world which is simultaneously running at a great success. In Nepal mainly we can travel through different transportation means like airway, roadway, ropeway and Railway. In terms of airway places like Pokhara, Lumbini, Gorkha, Mustang etc are connected where as  under roadways Kathmandu, Manang, Illam, Mahendranagar, Jomshom  etc are connected. Through ropeways places located at great height are connected such as Manakamana. Manakamana is the only   religious site which is worshipped by Buddhist and Hindus both. It is believed that once we make up our mind to visit this religious place we must have to visit it any how or we will be cursed. In railway place which are located at the low heights are connected this method of transportation is very much famous in Terai region of Nepal. Nepal is also a great place for refreshment  like hiking, paragliding, trekking, Rafting, Bungee jumping etc. which are breath taking refreshment activities popular worldwide. Nepal is the  second richest country in terms of water resources, there are over 6000  water resources out of them many of them flows in high current due to which tourism activities like rafting is highly popular though Nepal is the second richest  country in the water resources and also Nepal is landlocked country, water transportation is rarely practiced due to insufficient size of water sources and presence of rivers which flows at high current and  passes through many  steep hills and valleys.

Sagarmatha or popularly known as Mount Everest, the highest peak is also located in our  country which  allures many tourist to visit Nepal, many tourist who visit Nepal are  found  to be interested in mountain climbing and conquering the highest peak of the world .
So keeping in mind that our Nepali culture says “ Guests are gods “ we must promote travel and tourism in Nepal to  make our identity flourished all over the world and keep a harmonious relationship with all countries of  world. “ specialities are boon.” So we must realise what is the speciality of our country  and take maximum benefit from it without disturbing the cycle of the nature so that each and every individuals can live a happy life and then only we can be recognised as global citizens.
